Do you believe in Global Warming? Yes. I don't know. No.
Why are you interested in being eco-friendly? To keep the planet healthy and green. To get someone to stop bugging me about it... Yeesh! I do it so that other people will like me or notice me. It's not a big deal either way.
How much can one person help? A lot. One person can be the start of something bigger. A little. Every little bit helps. Not much. The problem is too big.
How often do you recycle? I go out of my way to recycle as much as possible. I recycle when it's clear how to do it and it's not too much of a pain. I wish I could recycle, but it's really hard to do it where I live. I don't think about recycling much.
How important is it to recycle? Very Important! Important Not that important Not important.
How easy is it to recycle where you live? You have to take your recycling to the recycling center. You can put your recycling on your curb and a recycling guy will pick it up for you. There are recycling cans in public places (like school), just like trash cans. I have more than one of the above options.
Do you sort your recycling? Yes, all the time. Most of the time. I don't know what you mean. Nope.
Will you eat left overs? Of course! Waste not, want not. Yes, if i'm hungry and it's there. No. Food just isn't as good the next day.
How often do you go shopping for fun? Every weekend! One or two times a month. A few times a year. Only for special occasions
Here's a saying: "If it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down." This means you only flush the toilet when your waste is solid. Do you do this? Yes. I try to follow that as much as possible. Not all the time. It depends where I am. Gross! Always flush the toilet!
How much water do you use while taking a shower? A lot. I take long showers. It depends on the day Very little. I take quick showers.
How do you get to school? I share rides to school by carpooling or taking public transportation. My parent drops me off. I am home schooled. I walk.
How do you stay warm in cold weather? Turn up the heat! Wear tons of clothes. Eat a lot. I am never cold.
Do you save electricity by shutting off things you're not using? Yes. Sometimes, if I remember. No.
Are you always plugged in? Yes. I am always watching TV or on the computer. Sometimes. It depends on what I'm doing. I don't know. I never really noticed. No. I like to do activities that don't involve electricity.
Do you make an extra effort so that your food is local or organic? Yes. I refuse to eat food unless it's local and organic. Sometimes. I try to get my parent to buy groceries that are local and organic. I don't usually think about where my food comes from or how its made.
How much paper do you use? I use a different piece of paper for everything. I don't know how much paper I use. I try not to use a lot of paper by reusing the same piece.
Do you help others to reduce waste? Yes, I always tell people the benefits of preventing waste. Sometimes. No, it's their choice.
How important is it to reuse materials? It's very important. It could save the environment! It's not important compred to having new stuff!
Do you compost your food waste? Yes. I don't know what compost is. No.
How do you feel about wearing hand-me-down clothes from someone you know? I'm fine with it. Sometimes I would, but I like new clothes as well. No, I would never wear used clothes.
How do you feel about wearing used clothes from someone you don't know? Sure, why not? Maybe. It depends. Oh my gosh, never!
How do you feel about sharing your things? I don't mind. I have lots of siblings. I hate sharing my things! Sharing is caring. I love sharing! If I have to share, I'll do it.
You print a homework assignment off your computer, but realize you made a mistake. What do you do with the paper? Throw it away and reprint. Recycle it and print a new one. Save it and write on it until there's no more room left. Print on the other side. Correct the mistake with white out.
Have you ever picked up trash in public? Yes. It helps make the space a better place to live. If I feel like it at the time. No. I leave it. It's disgusting.
How do you beautify the space you live in? Murals. Artistic graffiti. Gardens. Store bought posters. Other
Do you garden? Yes. I love t! Yes, I would if I had the opportunity. No. I'm not allowed. No.
Have you ever planted a tree? Yes. No.
How much do you care about the environment? A lot. A little bit. Not at all.
Going green: Is it a fad or an important cause? I think it's both. Definitely a fad! It's very important. Neither.
