What were three things that you were able to do at this travel destination that you couldn't do in your hometown?

I went to the lovely beaches (not too crowded and not dirty at all!), went parasailing, and took a historic tour of Savannah (lots or Revolutionary history took place in Savannah).

When visitng this travel destination, what foods would you suggest trying?

I would suggest trying the seafood if you are a seafood person (I'm not and didn't have any, but it was probably tasty). You MUST also go to Paula Deen's restaurant in Savannah, The Lady and Sons! It's fabulous! :)

Did you learn any phrases specific to this travel destination that might be useful to other SmartGirls?

I believe 'Tybee' means 'salt' in Indian.

When you were traveling, what was the easiest way for you to get from place to place?

Parasailing, our beach cottage we rented, going to the beach, all the ice cream shops along the beach, Paula Deen's restraunt, the tour of Savannah, and the whole relaxed atmosphere of the island

Paula Deen, a famous chef, is from Savannah. She owns a restaurant in Savannah called The Lady and Sons, has two sons that also cook, and makes the best banana pudding! :)

A terrible tragic plane crash...and Miley Cyrus had come to the beach to film her movie (no, I did not see her).
