This story is about these kids that were created in a lab experiment. The have bird DNA implanted in them. They're basically bird-kids and each has different powers. Later a talking dog joined them. Max, the leader, has to try to save the world from evil scientists.

How does the title relate to the storyline?

It tells about Maximum Ride.

Is there something interesting that the author does to present the story?

Is was written in a very fascinating way. It's science fiction, and the author knows most teens don't read those books, so he made it extremely interesting.

If you could rewrite the story, what would you change to make it better?

Nothing at all. It was perfect!

Why would you recommend (or not recommend) this book to a friend?

Because it will immediately lure you into it.

Why did you choose to read this particular book?

I heard one of my teachers talking about it in 7th grade and was curious. After I read it, I fell in love with the series.
